What’s your role at Home Field Instruction?

I am a hitting, infield, and outfield instructor, the Director of Operations, and assist in the recruiting process for high school players. I work with any players looking to improve their skills, as well as players who are looking to make the jump to college and professional levels.

Who inspires you?

​

Pete Rose inspires me with his relentless effort and dedication to the game of baseball. His will to succeed drove him to be the best player in the game and baseball’s all time hit king. His success and willingness to play any position on the field is something that you do not see in the game today.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

​

I love the outdoors. I spend as much time as I can hunting and fishing as well as playing golf. Golfing now that I am a retired baseball player has made me a better baseball coach and led to a greater understanding of the process it takes to succeed at any level.
