Our catching  program targets the fundamental areas of receiving, defensive positioning, ​blocking balls, fielding bunts, passed balls, throwing mechanics, foot work, and blocking the plate.

Our instructors will work on these fundamentals and establish a strong foundation for the young catcher. There are several other advanced facets that the trainers will dive into as the catcher develops that include working with a pitching staff, calling a game/pitch selection, detecting weaknesses in hitters, taking control of a game, and communicating as a leader on the field.
