What’s your role at Home Field Instruction?

I am a Softball Instructor with an emphasis on pitching and hitting.  My goal is to teach quality mechanics along with building self confidence and mental toughness, so that each player can compete at their highest level.

Tell us a little bit about you:

​

I grew up in So. California and was trained by and played for the top coaches and teams in the country throughout my playing career.  After college, I played one season of professional softball in Holland before hanging up my cleats to marry and start a family.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

​

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. I was diagnosed with Stage 2b breast cancer in 2017.  I viewed cancer as my opponent and used the same guts, competitive attitude, positive self talk and mental toughness that I used as a player to beat cancer. 

​

Fun fact: I have a completely irrational fear of basements and zombies.  And don't even think about putting those two together!!
